Coach on yourown terms.
Level Up My Play gives independent coaches a public profile, a booking calendar and a payment system that works while you sleep. Athletes find you, book a time and pay upfront — you show up and coach.
Founding coaches: your first 2 months are free. No card needed — join by Oct 31, 2026.
Free to list. Cancel anytime. No lock-in, no exclusivity, no cut of anything you already run off the platform.
Four things you stop worrying about
Getting found
Your profile is a real, searchable page. Athletes and parents filter by sport, distance, price and age group — and you appear in every city you teach in.
The back-and-forth
Publish the times you are actually free. People book those times. No phone tag, no group chats, no double-booking yourself.
Getting paid
Payment is taken at booking, not at the field. The money lands in your bank account automatically after the session — no invoices, no chasing e-transfers.
The awkward parts
Cancellations, refunds, reminders, receipts and no-shows are handled by rules everyone agreed to upfront — so you never have to be the bad guy.
Everything you get
Not a directory listing. The whole operating system for a one-person coaching business — built, tested and already running for coaches in Metro Vancouver.
Be found
- A public profile page with your bio, methodology, certifications, photos and reviews — indexed by Google, not hidden behind a login.
- Listed across Canada in Explore and on the map, filterable by distance, sport, price, age group and session type.
- Findable in every city you teach in — add as many venues as you use, or coach fully online.
- Free to be listed: your profile goes live the moment it is complete.
Run it your way
- You set your own rate, your own session types and your own durations.
- One-on-one or group classes — you decide how many athletes a session holds.
- Publish single times, recurring weekly series, or copy an entire schedule from one session type to another.
- Block off days and holidays; move, delete or archive anything you created.
- Booking one time automatically closes every overlapping time across all your session types. You cannot double-book yourself.
The money
- Athletes pay upfront at checkout. A booked session is a paid session.
- Automatic bank payouts through Stripe — released when the athlete leaves a review, or 48 hours after the session.
- Seats can never be oversold, and an abandoned checkout releases the time again within ten minutes.
- Cancellation and refund rules are enforced by the platform, not negotiated by you.
Handled for you
- Automatic confirmations, cancellation notices, 24-hour reminders and receipts, by email and push.
- In-app chat with athletes and parents — you never hand out your personal number.
- Rescheduling by mutual approval, at the same price, with no manual refund dance.
- Reviews build a public reputation you own; an unfair one can be reported to our team.
- iOS and Android apps, so your calendar and messages are in your pocket.
Safety and trust
- Every account that can log in declares it is 18 or over; young athletes are always booked through a parent account.
- Payment, chat and everything legal for a minor stay with the parent — you are never in a private thread with a child.
- Block and report tools, abuse rate limits, and a payout hold if a serious report is ever filed.
- A support team you can actually reach, with a ticket you can follow.
Grow beyond your own list
- The Job Panel: paid coaching vacancies posted by clubs across the platform — apply with your resume in two taps.
- Join a club roster and appear on their public page as well as your own.
- Get discovered by parents searching your sport in your city, not just by people who already have your number.
What it costs, in plain numbers
Two numbers, and nothing hidden behind them. A subscription to be bookable, and a service fee on what you actually earn. The athlete never pays a markup on your session price.
The plan
$10per month, CAD
Founding offer: your first 2 months are free, with no card required. Open to coaches who join by Oct 31, 2026.
The subscription is what makes you bookable. Being listed and getting found is free — you only need the plan once you want people to be able to book and pay you.
The service fee
5%of each booking
The service fee is deducted from your payout, with a minimum of $2.00 per booking. That minimum is gross: card processing comes out of it, which is exactly why it exists.
Two real examples
These are computed by the same code that runs the real payouts — not marketing arithmetic.
A $70.00 session
- The athlete pays
- $70.00
- Service fee
- − $3.50
A $25.00 session
- The athlete pays
- $25.00
- Service fee
- − $2.00
- Minimum session price is $5.00.
- You keep 100% of anything you coach off the platform. We take no cut of clients you already have.
- Cancel whenever you like — you stay bookable until the end of the period you already paid for.
Up and running this week
01
Create your profile
Sport, bio, rate, photos and where you teach. No paperwork, no interview, no waiting list. The moment it is complete you are visible in search.
02
Connect your payouts
A short Stripe onboarding links your bank account. It is the same system used by most of the marketplaces you already buy from.
03
Publish your times
Open the hours you are genuinely free — this week, or as a repeating weekly pattern. Athletes near you can book them immediately.
Questions coaches actually ask
Do I need to give up my existing clients?
No. Level Up My Play is not exclusive and takes nothing from work you arrange yourself. Most coaches use it to fill the gaps in a schedule they already have.
When do I actually get the money?
The athlete pays at booking. Your payout is released to your bank account through Stripe as soon as the athlete leaves a review, or automatically 48 hours after the session if they do not. The 48-hour window exists so a genuine dispute can be raised before the money moves.
What happens if an athlete cancels?
The rules are the same for everyone and are applied automatically: a paid booking can be cancelled for a full refund within 24 hours of payment and more than 72 hours before the session. Outside that window the session stands. You are never the one having to argue about it.
Can I teach groups, not just one-on-one?
Yes. Each session type carries its own number of spots, so the same time slot can hold a full group class. You decide the size and the price.
What if I coach in more than one city?
Add every venue you teach at. You will be findable by athletes searching in each of those cities, and each session can be attached to the right location.
Do I need my own website?
No. Your profile page is a real public page that Google can index, with your bio, methodology, certifications, photos, reviews and a live booking calendar on it. Many coaches use it as their website and link to it from Instagram.
Is my phone number shared with athletes?
Never. All conversation happens in the in-app chat, on the web or in the mobile apps. You can block anyone.
What stops someone booking a time I am not free?
You are the only person who publishes times. And once any of your sessions is booked at a given hour, every overlapping time across all your other session types closes automatically — because you are one person.
Which sports are on the platform?
Coaches choose what they teach, so the list keeps growing. Tennis, soccer, hockey, basketball, swimming, golf, baseball and yoga are all active today, and nothing stops you being the first coach in your sport.
Where does Level Up My Play operate?
We are Canada-first and Vancouver-born, with the strongest coverage across Metro Vancouver today and coaches joining in other provinces. Sessions can also be delivered fully online.
Run a club instead?
Clubs get a different toolkit: event registrations, a members and payments ledger, coach recruitment and a broadcast channel to every family.
The next athleteis already searching.
Parents in your city are looking for a coach in your sport this week. The only thing standing between you and that booking is a profile.
