Disclaimer

Last updated: June 15, 2026

This Disclaimer summarises some important points about how Level Up My Play (the “Platform”) works. It forms part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. We are a directory, not the provider of coaching

Level Up My Play is an online directory and advertising platform where independent coaches and clubs list their own services. We do not provide, sell, resell, or supply coaching, and we are not a partyto any agreement between an athlete and a coach. The training contract is solely between the athlete (or their parent/guardian) and the coach. When you pay for a session, we act only as the coach's limited payment-collection agent to process that payment — this does not make us the seller or provider of the session.

2. Coaches and clubs are independent

Coaches and clubs are independent and are not employees, agents, or partners of Level Up My Play. They are solely responsible for the safety, accuracy, quality, and legality of the services they advertise and deliver, including any certifications, insurance, licences, screening, and supervision required by law. Level Up My Play does not conduct criminal-record checks, background checks, or screening of coaches or clubs; they self-attest to their qualifications, certifications, insurance, and legal eligibility, and are solely responsible for them. We do not guarantee the qualifications, conduct, or results of any coach or club. You are responsible for deciding whether a coach is right for you before booking.

3. Physical activity carries risk — assumption of risk

Coaching and training involve physical activity and an inherent risk of injury — including, in rare cases, serious or permanent injury. You participate at your own risk and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume all such risks and release Level Up My Play and its operators from claims arising out of a session or your interactions with a coach, club, or other user. We do not supervise, control, or attend sessions and are not responsiblefor the acts, omissions, or conduct of any coach, club, or other user, or for any resulting injury or loss. If you book for a child, you accept this on the child's behalf as their parent or legal guardian. The full assumption of risk, release, and waiver is in Section 9 of our Terms. Consult a qualified health professional before starting any new training program; Level Up My Play is not a medical or healthcare provider.

4. AI features are not advice

The AI features on the Platform — including the “LUMP” assistant and its drill suggestions, evaluations, and guidance — are powered by a third-party artificial-intelligence model (Anthropic's Claude Haiku). They are generated automatically, are provided for general training and informational purposes only, and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. They are not professional, medical, health, nutritional, or coaching advice. Always use your own judgement, review every AI suggestion before acting on it, and consult a qualified coach or healthcare professional where appropriate. Any injury or constraint information you provide is self-reported and is not a medical assessment. You use the AI features at your own risk.

5. “As is” and limitation of liability

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Level Up My Play is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited as set out in our Terms of Service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act (British Columbia).
