CSIA Level 1 certified ski instructor working toward Level 2 this December, with 20+ years of alpine skiing experience and a background in competitive ski racing. I’ve spent the past three winters teaching skiers up to age 14, helping young athletes build confidence, technique, and a love for the mountain.
My teaching approach is focused on building strong fundamentals, confidence, and proper technique while keeping lessons fun and encouraging. I adapt to each skier’s ability and goals, helping them progress at a comfortable pace while developing skills they can carry onto any terrain.

A fun, personalized introduction to skiing for young beginners. We’ll focus on basic fundamentals including stance, balance, stopping, turning, and building confidence on the slopes. Lessons are adapted to each child’s ability and pace.

Please arrive with all required ski equipment, including skis, boots, poles, helmet, goggles, and appropriate winter clothing. I can provide guidance on equipment sizing and rentals if needed, but rental equipment should be arranged before the lesson so we can maximize time. Lessons are private and tailored to each child’s current ability and comfort level. For first-time skiers, we’ll begin with equipment familiarity, balance, stance, stopping, and basic turning before progressing to more advanced skills. Parents/guardians are welcome to remain nearby during the lesson. Please arrive approximately 15 minutes early to allow time for equipment and preparation.
