Dario
Vancouver, BC
Experienced soccer strength & conditioning coach with a Master’s in High-Performance Sports and a background in Physical Education. Currently working with youth and competitive soccer players in Vancouver, focusing on strength, speed, agility, power, movement quality, and injury prevention. Experience with West Vancouver FC, Burnaby FC, and academy-level programs, supporting player development across different age groups. Also have experience supporting high-performance environments, including work with the Canadian Women’s National Soccer Team.
My methodology is based on a progressive, player-centred approach that combines technical development with physical preparation. Each session follows a clear structure: dynamic warm-up and movement preparation, technical/tactical work, physical development, game-based activities, and cool-down. Sessions are adapted to the age, level, needs, and objectives of the players, with an emphasis on quality of movement, intensity, decision-making, and enjoyment. I use progressive overload, appropriate challenges, and continuous feedback to support long-term player development and performance.
