I've been playing for 17 years and coaching for 6 years. I've won some tournaments and played in a club for a decade.
I try to do the drills that players prefer rather than following a regimented plan, so players enjoy what they're doing and have as much fun as possible. If they prefer a rally, I do more of that than being technical. It depends on what everyone's goal is and what they enjoy doing!
