Hi! I’m Max. I am a certified personal trainer with a background in CrossFit and functional fitness. I have experience with olympic weightlifting as well and have coached kids for athletic development in the past. I enjoy training clients of all ages, whether their goal be weightloss, performance, or simply wanting to move more, I can help with all of it. I help people starting their fitness journey too, as I know how intimidating that may be. Let’s get started soon!
My training philosophy is centered around building strong, well-rounded, and capable athletes through functional strength training, athletic development, and conditioning. I prioritize foundational strength, proper movement mechanics, and progressive overload while incorporating compound movements, free weights, and functional exercises that translate into real-world performance. My approach combines strength, power, muscular endurance, and cardiovascular fitness to develop individuals who are not only strong but also move efficiently and perform confidently. I believe in training with purpose, prioritizing performance over aesthetics, and creating a balance between challenging individuals and meeting them at their current fitness level. As a coach, I value individualized programming, proper technique, and sustainable progress, with an emphasis on helping people build strength, confidence, and long-term physical health through movement.

Building muscle doesn't mean you'll suddenly become massive. Muscle growth takes consistent training, time, and adequate nutrition. Your body is not going to transform overnight because you started lifting heavier weights. And even if you do build a substantial amount of muscle? What's wrong with that? Strong women are not a problem to be corrected. Muscle is not something to fear. Taking up space is not a failure. Train for the body you want to live in for the rest of your life, not just the body you want to see in the mirror.
Somewhere along the way, women were taught that the goal of fitness is to get smaller, leaner, and more “toned.” But let’s talk about what that actually means. You don’t need to lose muscle to look a certain way. You need to build it. What people call “toning” is generally a combination of muscle development and body composition. But instead of constantly chasing fat loss, I’d argue that building muscle deserves far more attention, especially for women as we age. Resistance training helps us build and preserve muscle, support bone health, and do the things we love to do.
