You can train as hard as you want, but if your mind can't handle outside factors when you're not training, your progress will stall. Remember: you only spend 1 hour in the gym.. leaving 23 hours (90%o of your day) happening outside of it. Real physical and mental resilience requires habits that support your life outside those gym walls. Here are my top 3 non-training daily habits: 1) Morning Stretch Routine: Wake up the body and relieve overnight stiffness. It signals your nervous system to move and sets the tone for the day. 2) Learn One New Thing: Keep the mind sharp. Even learning the definition of a new word counts. A stagnant mind creates a rigid athlete. 3) Nightly Gratitude Journal: Close the day with intention. Reminding yourself how lucky you are to be right where you are. Stop treating performance as ONLY physical. Take care of the other 90% of your day, and your training in the gym will elevate right along with it.
